Custom Glass Railing Solutions
Mission Viejo’s housing stock spans the 1980s through early 2000s. Dual-pane seal failures are the most common window call we get from this area. Here are the window glass services we handle throughout Mission Viejo:
Frameless Shower Doors in San Juan Capistrano
Frameless shower door upgrades are our most common bathroom project in San Juan Capistrano — both in older Marbella and Mission Hills homes replacing dated framed enclosures and in Covenant Hills master bathrooms doing full luxury upgrades. We measure, fabricate and install frameless hinged doors in 3/8" or 1/2" tempered glass to exact opening dimensions. Hardware options include brushed nickel, brushed gold, matte black and polished chrome to match existing bathroom fixtures.
Semi-Frameless & Sliding Enclosures in San Juan Capistrano
Semi-frameless shower enclosures are a practical choice in San Juan Capistrano bathrooms where the existing tile is in good condition but the framed sliding door has aged out. The door panel swings freely without a frame; fixed panels use minimal aluminium channel. Sliding bypass doors on tubs are common in older SJC homes where the original cast-iron tub stays in place and only the enclosure needs updating. All glass is tempered safety glass fabricated to exact dimensions.
Sliding Barn Door Showers in San Juan Capistrano
Barn door shower systems are a popular upgrade in San Juan Capistrano bathrooms with limited swing clearance — older Mission Hills and Stonehill homes with compact guest bathrooms and tight layouts often benefit from a barn door over a standard hinged frameless door. The glass panel slides on a top-mounted track with no floor clearance needed. Available in clear, frosted or rain-texture glass with matte black, brushed nickel or brushed gold hardware.
Neo-Angle & Custom Enclosures in San Juan Capistrano
Corner shower spaces in Covenant Hills and Marbella master bathrooms often benefit from neo-angle enclosures — multi-panel glass configurations at angled cuts to enclose a corner layout. Custom frameless enclosures are available for any non-standard shower shape in San Juan Capistrano. We design and fabricate every enclosure to exact bathroom measurements in our Laguna Hills shop. Walk-in splash panels are also available as a door-free option for larger shower stalls.

Frequently Asked Questions — Shower Doors in San Juan Capistrano, CA
How much do shower doors cost in San Juan Capistrano, CA?
Frameless shower doors in San Juan Capistrano typically run $900–$2,500+ installed depending on opening size, glass thickness and hardware finish. Semi-frameless enclosures run $700–$1,500. Framed and sliding tub doors start around $400–$900. We provide free on-site estimates with written quotes for all SJC shower door projects — no charge and no obligation.
How long does shower door installation take in San Juan Capistrano?
Most San Juan Capistrano shower door installations are complete within 5–10 business days from your first call — measurement visit, fabrication at our Laguna Hills shop and installation appointment. The installation itself takes 2–4 hours. We confirm the exact timeline in your written quote before work begins.
What shower door style works best for an older bathroom in San Juan Capistrano?
For older Mission Hills and Marbella bathrooms with existing tile surrounds in good condition, a semi-frameless or frameless hinged door is the most cost-effective upgrade — the tile stays in place and only the door system changes. If the existing tile is dated or the surround is deteriorating, a full bathroom remodel first makes more sense before installing a frameless door. We assess the condition of your tile and surround during the free estimate and advise on the best approach.
Can you install a frameless shower door over existing tile in a San Juan Capistrano home?
Yes. Frameless shower doors in San Juan Capistrano are installed by anchoring hardware directly into the existing tile and wall substrate — no tile removal needed. We drill through the tile using core bits specifically sized for ceramic and porcelain. If your tile is a vintage or hand-made material common in older SJC homes, we assess the drilling risk during the free estimate and advise on the safest anchor method.
What is a neo-angle shower enclosure and do I need one for my San Juan Capistrano bathroom?
A neo-angle shower enclosure uses angled glass panels — typically at 45-degree cuts — to enclose a corner shower space that would otherwise be awkward to fit with standard rectangular panels. It is the right solution when the shower sits diagonally in a corner, or when the opening is at an angle to the walls. Neo-angle enclosures are common in older Marbella and Covenant Hills master bathrooms with non-standard corner shower layouts. We assess your specific shower geometry during the free estimate to confirm whether a neo-angle configuration works.
